What to expect at the theatre

Walking towards the theater on the palm tree-lined streets of Hollywood, the first thing you’ll see is the huge Pantages sign outside the building. On getting closer, you’ll see the theater’s exterior, with signs promoting upcoming shows and the Hollywood Walk of Fame in front.

At peak times, there is often a line outside. You might have to wait a short while to pass security and move into the venue. Then, you’ll be able to take in the grandeur of the venue’s main auditorium.

The majority of the shows at Hollywood Pantages Theatre are Broadway musicals and theatrical productions. Some shows may be more formal than others, but there’s no need to dress up (unless you want to.)

The venue recommends arriving at least half an hour before the show’s start time. This allows enough time to pass security, make purchases, and find your seats. Late arrivals are often held in the lobby until a break in the show.
