“‘The Notebook: The Musical’ is one of the most incredible dramatic works, both cohesive and moving, ever brought to the stage.” – Josh At The Movies

SYNOPSIS
In a room at a retirement home, Noah Calhoun reads from a notebook to his darling wife Allie, who suffers from Alzheimer’s. Allie doesn’t remember their love story, how it started, and how everything led up to this moment, and Noah patiently, yet desperately, tries to help her remember and return to him, even if it is for a brief moment.
Their tale starts in the summer in the 1940s in South Carolina, where poor mill worker Noah meets a wealthy heiress, Allie, and in spite of everything working against them, they fall in love with each other. During the years, and after countless attempts from both fate and Allie’s parents to keep them apart, they keep returning to each other – lovers who are entirely and utterly meant to be – and will be, no matter what.
The Notebook: The Musical weaves together the three timelines of Allie and her Noah in a non-linear unique manner – the power of the familiar presented in a brand new way. It is chemistry and romance personified; it’s as personal and intimate as that famous rain kiss; it’s a powerhouse display that will get you involved whether you want to or not – body, soul, and heart.
“Impeccable casting, unique staging, a layered book, and passionate music and lyrics combined place this rendition high among the ranks of comparable theatre.” – Josh At The Movies
