Suffs at Hollywood Pantages Theatre
Suffs is the Tony Award®-winning Broadway spectacle that should be on your radar! By popular demand, the show is getting ready to make history all over again at the iconic Hollywood Pantages Theatre! Brought to the stage by Shaina Taub, who shines bright as the first woman to independently earn Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Score in the same season, the show-stopping Suffs production has been rightfully named Best Musical (Outer Critics Circle Award), won not one, but two Drama Desk Awards including Best Score, and is “unquestionably the most emotionally stirring musical of the season” (Chicago Tribune).
There’s no question that the women driving the suffragist movement – who proudly called themselves “Suffs” – were extraordinary. As they pushed relentlessly for the right to vote, they were also determined, passionate, and witty. Suffs shines a light on their remarkable journey: the uplifting friendship, the crushing heartbreaks, and the way this movement united them… or, at times, pulled them apart at the seams. Boldly capturing the fight for equality, Suffs is a gentle reminder that progress may be expected but is never promised. Join the movement and book your places now!

History and Awards
Off Broadway, Suffs debuted at the nonprofit Public Theater in April 2022 with an amazing audience and critical reception. Two years later, the show then opened on Broadway at the esteemed Music Box Theatre. This show led to even more glowing reviews from world-class critics, as well as a staggering seven nominations at the 77th Tony Awards, including Best Musical, winning not one but two categories for both Best Book and Best Score. Suffs also won big at the Drama Desk Awards with Best Score, with the Chicago Tribute calling it “unquestionably the most emotionally stirring musical of the season.”
“To all of the theatre kids out there watching – especially the wild little girls – go for it,” a very emotional Shaina Taub said from the stage. “You can do it. You are powerful. You are valuable. You are going to doubt yourself. It’s okay. I doubt myself all the time, but you can do it. I’m rooting for you.”
“The musical succeeds at a thrilling, all hands-on-deck level: Suffs readies you to both look inward and march on” – The New Yorker
