California, you’re in for the finest kind of surprise as The Book of Mormon, one of Broadway’s wittiest, cleverest, and most humorous plays is arriving and performing in Los Angeles on Tuesday 10th February 2026 at the one and only Hollywood Pantages Theatre! Take part in a musical performance that makes you laugh and love classical theatre, full of unrestrained and humorous twists.
Produced from a collaboration of the creators of the famous comedy TV series South Park and the play Avenue Q, The Book of Mormon tells the story of two Latter-day Saints (LDS) missionaries, Kevin Price and Arnold Cunningham, as they try to convert local villagers in Uganda. In the same fashion to their previous creations, the musical takes the serious concept of religion and satirizes it through both writing and music.
As Ben Brantley of The New York Times shares, just like South Park, it is “also blasphemous, scurrilous and more foul-mouthed than David Mamet on a blue streak. But trust me when I tell you that its heart is as pure as that of a Rodgers and Hammerstein show”.
Don't miss your chance to be one of the lucky ones and get a seat to this unforgettable show, before they run out!

If you’re keen on a night where the humour goes from 1 to 100 in seconds, The Book of Mormon is where you should be!
What happens when two Mormons try ringing a doorbell in a Ugandan village only to find that doors in Africa don't have bells and that the people are distracted by other matters?
There’s a reason why The Book of Mormon sent Broadway off its rocker, and knocked the West End for a six. The creators of the hit series South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and Avenue Q’s Robert Lopez are the creative geniuses behind the smash-hit musical.
After opening on Broadway at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre in 2011, The Book of Mormon gained much critical acclaim and broke the venue’s, earning the musical a spot among the the best as one of the most successful musicals of all time, and, with over 5,000 performances under the belt, Broadway’s 12th longest running show to date.
If you’ve been on the fence about The Book of Mormon, let the awards set the record straight.
The musical’s award shelf is groaning heavily under the weight of nine Tony Awards, five Drama Desk Awards, four Outer Critics Circle Awards, as well as a Grammy Award for the best musical theatre album. Apart from that, the production’s West End replica in London landed four Laurence Olivier Awards.
The Book of Mormon is one of those productions that kicks off on a high note and keeps getting better and better, sending thrilled audiences home with a post-show giggle and a new opinion on Mormons.
The Book of Mormon is for certain one of those musicals that cuts the mustard with its punchy music, energetic choreography that will have your jaws on the floor, “recreational offense” topped with a dollop of eyebrow-raising, breathtaking acting, humour that just keeps going and going, and a strangely heartwarming feeling. The question is - how can one production be so outrageous, bawdy, and heartwarming at the same time? We don’t have answers, all we know is that The Book of Mormon is all that and more!
If you are after an incredible musical theatre experience this winter, the Hollywood Pantages Theatre is the place to be! With seating spread across various areas, superb sound and lighting, and crystal-clear sight lines, there is a seat suitable for every taste and budget! On top of that, the venue boasts ample parking and some wonderful restaurants nearby for the ultimate night at the theatre!
