Many long-time fans of Neil Diamond still remember when his 1976 album, A Beautiful Noise, first was released. Hit Broadway musical honoring Neil Diamond, is now coming to to Los Angeles for several premiers at the legendary Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, California this summer.
The exciting performance entranced audiences from the very beginning with a mesmerizing Broadway show and memorable songs. The production follows the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, opening in the present day with Westenberg sitting in a therapist’s office. As Diamond, he explains how he can no longer sing like he used to while the doctor helps him navigate the trials brought by this reality throughout A Beautiful Noise. The production goes back to Diamond's youth, discussing his introduction to music and all the good and bad times since then, including his journey to stardom and fight with depression. But, what long-time Diamond lovers anticipate most is re-experiencing Diamond’s catalog of hits in the Neil Diamond Musical.
This heart-wrenching two-hour-and-15-minute adventure comprises two acts, the first ending with the timeless classic Sweet Caroline, followed by a 15-minute intermission. After restocking on food and drink, rejoin the show for another hour of outstanding acting and storytelling.

Saturday 19th July 2025 Remember that day because A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical is heading for California at Los Angeles’s Hollywood Pantages Theatre. Book your seats now to experience a triumphant retelling of the ROCK STARS life that will alter your perception of him forever.
A Beautiful Noise features a team of creative performers, notably under the direction of Michael Mayer and choreography by Chita Rivera Award winner Steven Hoggett. The performing side, on the other hand, offers the seasoned talents of dozens of singers and actors. On the forefront are Will Swenson and Mark Jacoby, who play a early and aging Neil, respectively. Will, in particular, is often lauded for his unmatched energy and magnetism that seems to be borrowed straight from Neil Diamond in his prime. Adding to the amazing production team, Robyn Hurder will be playing as Marcia Murphey and Linda Powell is cast as Neil’s therapist.
Together, the actors portrays an intimate recollection of the superstar’s life, from his modest Brooklyn days to his feverish chart-topping years. This summer show doesn’t shy away from the ugly and uncomfortable, but pays respects to the hardships that forged Neil to who he has become today. The master showman himself collaborated with the production to ensure that everything is laid bare, “warts and all”, for people to grasp the person behind the superstar.
