In this historical stage fiction, viewers will live through two and a half hours of incredible Eugene O’Neill-esque narratives backed with the music of the 20th century's most revered recording artist.
Set in Duluth, Minnesota during the Great Depression, our story revolves around a derelict boarding house managed by the Laines. It oversees the intertwining fates of the lost souls that take shelter there, from the lonely, adopted daughter Marianne Laine to the luckless boxer Joe Scott. Sins will unravel, and inner demons will wake. Amid the cruel darkness of a devastated nation, can the rays of hope pierce through?
Girl from the North Country is written and directed by Tony Award-nominated screenwriter Conor McPherson. It features an evocative score from Nobel Prize-winning legend Bob Dylan with twenty specially chosen tracks, including classics such as "Hurricane" and "Sign on the Window."

Titled after the superstar's quintessential folk hit, Girl from the North Country premiered in 2017, presenting at The Old Vic before committing to London's West End. The limited-week run was a big success, clinching three wins at the Laurence Olivier Awards.
The musical then found its way to the US at the Public Theatre, New York, in late 2018. Here, it won an acclaimed Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Musical. The next year, the show finally played on Broadway at the Belasco Theatre. Despite its run cut short due to the global pandemic, it was nominated seven times at the Tony Awards, earning a Best Orchestrations win.
This 2024, the jukebox musical will stop by the Hollywood Pantages Theatre for its new series of shows. The indoor hall offers crowds a truly momentous spectacle thanks to its high-end seats, stunning backdrop, and state-of-the-art theatrical facilities.
