Written and directed by esteemed playwright Conor McPherson and featuring world-class orchestrations by Simon Hale, Girl From the North Country redefines a collection of hits by Kennedy Center Honoree Bob Dylan in a fresh manner!

The realistic story of the musical emerges in a comfortable lodge in Minnesota when times were tough during the Great Depression. It's a story that centers on the lives of the people staying there - guests and long-term residents alike. All of them carries their own secrets and what makes this play unique is how it interlaces all these characters' lives.

The theatre set will include everyone’s treasured tracks including “Forever Young,” “Like A Rolling Stone” “All Along The Watchtower,” “Slow Train Coming,” and “Hurricane”

An interview with The Marlowe revolves around how director Conor McPherson had not been familiar with the direction of a musical prior to this venture and found himself enjoying in the novel experience. He highlights that when it comes to a straight production, the difficulty lies in keeping the audience engaged solely through the dialogue and acting. However, in a musical, there are moments where someone might advise, “Shall we have a refreshing pause for everyone's benefit?” and you'd positively accept, thinking it sounds quite appealing.

Everyone will be ready to see the work of the production’s star-studded core creatives team. Read on to find out the full list of people behind the scenes here below:
